GTA 6, FiveM and roleplay servers

Nothing under “not announced” has been ruled out. It has been left unsaid, which is a much smaller claim than most writing on this subject makes, and the gap between the two is where the confident guessing lives.

In reading order rather than publication order: the question people arrive with, then the release that gates the answer, then what was actually said, then what all of that means for a roleplay city.

Will GTA 6 have FiveM servers?

Rockstar has not announced FiveM support for Grand Theft Auto VI, and Cfx.re — the team behind FiveM, acquired by Take-Two in 2023 — has announced no GTA VI product, beta, waiting list or timeline. FiveM is a PC client, and no PC version of GTA VI has been announced, so there is nothing yet for it to attach to.

When does GTA 6 come out?

19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the two platforms listed on Rockstar's own game page for it.

Is GTA 6 coming to PC?

No PC version has been announced — not a date, not a window, not a store page. GTA V reached PC in 2015 after a 2013 console release and Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2019 after 2018, which is precedent for one eventually, not a schedule for this one.

Does GTA 6 have multiplayer?

The announcement Take-Two published when pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026 described Grand Theft Auto VI as a single-player experience. No online mode has been announced: no name, no date, no feature list. Take-Two has said Grand Theft Auto Online continues to be supported after launch, with no end date given.

Are there GTA 6 roleplay servers?

No. A roleplay city needs a PC build of the game and a sanctioned multiplayer platform to run on, and neither has been announced. JoinGG lists no Grand Theft Auto VI servers because there are none to list, and no GTA VI server can be tested by connecting to it — which is the only check that settles the question.

Does the FiveM Enhanced client mean GTA 6 support is coming?

Cfx.re released FiveM for GTA V Enhanced in early access on 21 July 2026: a separate launcher with a rebuilt connection layer, and work on Grand Theft Auto V. Cfx.re has not announced GTA VI support. Reading the rebuild as preparation for the next game is inference rather than a source.

JoinGG lists 1,855 FiveM servers. 1,234 of them answered their last check, with 30,218 players on them between them. None of them is a Grand Theft Auto VI server: there are none to list, and every roleplay community you can name today runs on Grand Theft Auto V.
