GTA V roleplay with real rules

FiveM Server List

FiveM turns GTA V into a persistent roleplay city, and the server you pick decides whether that city is a serious whitelisted department sim or an open-door sandbox you can jump into tonight. Every listing here shows the framework, the current population and how to connect, so you can judge a city before you write a character backstory for it. A legitimate copy of GTA V is required for all of them.

FiveM servers — frequently asked questions

What do I need before I can join a FiveM server?
You need a legitimate copy of GTA V on Steam, Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic, plus the free FiveM client installed and linked to a Cfx.re account. Launch FiveM rather than GTA V itself, then either find the server in the in-client browser or press F8 and type connect followed by the address shown on its page.
What does a whitelisted FiveM server mean?
Whitelisted cities make you apply before you can connect, usually through their Discord: a character backstory, a short written test on the rules, and sometimes a voice interview. It filters out people who treat the city as deathmatch, which is why whitelisted servers tend to have far more consistent roleplay than open ones.
What is the difference between QBCore and ESX servers?
They are the two common server frameworks. ESX is the older one with an enormous library of existing scripts; QBCore is newer, more modular and now the default for most new cities. The framework changes the inventory, job and banking systems you will use day to day, but it says nothing about how strict the roleplay is.
Why does the first connection take so long?
The server streams its custom cars, clothing, maps and scripts to your cache on first join, and a big city can push several gigabytes. It is a one-time download per server per update; later connections only fetch what has changed since your last visit.
