What is a Team Fortress 2 trade server?
Servers built around swapping items rather than winning rounds. The maps are open hubs with a spawn area, a shooting range and side rooms, and combat is optional and usually walled off from wherever people are negotiating.
Half social space, half marketplace. Expect people idling in spawn with trade offers open, a respawn-instantly combat pit for anyone bored, and custom taunts or achievement rooms bolted on. Item trades themselves happen through the game's own trade window, not through anything the server controls, so normal scam caution applies.
