About this server

What Voidline is

Voidline is an anarchy server: no land claims, no moderation of player behaviour, no map reset. The world border sits at thirty million blocks and the spawn area has been stripped to bedrock and rebuilt into a maze of traps by four years of players. If you have never played anarchy before, understand that everything below is a description, not a warning.

What makes it different

  • A real four-year map. Old bases, abandoned highways and a nether roof road network that goes further than most people ever travel.
  • No queue skipping. There is one queue and priority is not for sale. Everybody waits.
  • Duping is not banned. Item duplication exploits are part of the meta here, and the economy is built on them.
  • Anti-cheat only for the things that break the server. Flight and reach checks exist because crash exploits ruin the map for everyone; combat modules are otherwise untouched.

The rules

There are effectively four:

  1. No crash exploits or server-side attacks. Anything that takes the world down gets patched and banned.
  2. No advertising other servers in chat.
  3. No content that is illegal to host — the operator is in Germany and the law applies to the box.
  4. Everything else is between you and whoever finds your base.

Betrayal, spawn camping, base griefing and trapping new players in a hole for two hours are all allowed, and all of it happens. Bring nothing you are not prepared to lose.

How to connect

Point your Java client at anarchy.voidline.net on port 25565. Expect a queue at European evening peak — twenty to forty places is normal and it moves. Leave spawn immediately, travel at least ten thousand blocks before you build anything, and never log out inside a base you care about while someone is tracking you. The unofficial map archive and the base-hunting drama both live in the Discord.
