Minecraft BedWars Servers

What is a Minecraft bedwars server?

Teams start on separate islands, each with a bed. While your bed stands you respawn on death; once someone breaks it, your next death is your last. Generators on each island produce currency you spend on blocks, gear and tools, so the round is a race between fortifying your bed and reaching someone else's.

Rounds of ten to twenty minutes, a lobby and queue rather than a persistent world, and a heavy skill gradient — bridging quickly across open space is the whole game and it takes practice. The best-known implementations are on the very large networks, so smaller servers usually run a close variant.
